- The job exists to provide a resources for transporting materials in the packing areas and to provide washouts where applicable.- To ensure that materials, components, intermediates and finished products are transported to and from the production lines in a safe and efficient manner.- KEY TASKS- To complete weekly/daily pre-operational truck safety checks;
- To maintain all trucks in good working order following defined procedures;
- To tranship finished and intermediate goods to storage areas;
- To ensure that components are delivered to production lines when required;
- To ensure that completed product is removed from the production lines when required;
- To liaise with all relevant personnel within the packing areas and warehouse;
- To ensure that sufficient stocks of pallets are available to meet the needs of all areas;
- To be a member of the changeover and cleaning teams;
- To be a member of the set up team;
- To complete documentation in a neat and accurate manner, as detailed in relevant procedures;
- To provide a back up resource for other areas within the company governed by production demands;
- To provide an efficient service when washing out to the production team and to be responsible for following set instructions.
- Carry out any other duties, which might reasonably be expected by the Supervisor.
