Our client is a leading supplier of automation solutions & services for more flexibility and efficiency in production processes. With its solutions for intelligent measuring and testing technology, it offers its customers automated plant concepts through to complete process solutions at locations worldwide.

At the location in Baden-Wuerttemberg/Germany the position of the Head of Global R&D (M/F/d) is vacant.

Aufgaben
- Participates as a member of the General Management Team in establishing vision, strategic direction, and operational and financial performance goals
- Supports the organization's mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, responsiveness, challenging the status quo, effective collaboration including challenging the GMT member for highest performance, evidence-based decision-making, and resilience
- Superior performance includes at a minimum, demonstration of the following competencies: leadership, persuasion, analyze relevant data sets, client focus, results-driven, and quality decision making
- Hire, develop and maintain a high-performing team through mentorship, coaching, and training
- Effectively communicate key metrics and strategic information to leaders and staff in a timely and efficient manner
- Definition and realization of the product development roadmap in alignment with product management and sales

Qualifikation
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA and/or advanced degree are preferred
- Demonstrated track record in R&D, preferably including first-hand knowledge of Industrial Metrology.
- 5+ years of directly related experience
- Successful management of managers over a period of 3+ years
- Position requires superior project management, communication, collaboration, influence management and analytical skills
- Dynamic and engaging critical thinking, ability to see “the art of the possible” and think out of the box
- Strong work ethic and drive to excel
- Fluent in German AND English
