**Clarification from the agency**:

**Duties**:

- Performs “Hands-on” supervision of the program. This includes but is not limited to occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with hosting, front line service and other duties.
- Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House. Adherence to established schedules of activities and priorities.
- Assures the presence of personnel to carry out the services offered; provides information concerning services, prices, dress codes, standards of behavior, and special events. Ensures staff is following established procedures
- Helps control the guest flow and monitors operations. Ensures consistency in service to increase sales by performing table visits. Maintains order and harmony. As necessary, seeks assistance from military police, to control unacceptable behavior.
- Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from guest checks. Conducts inventory at beginning and/or end of shift.

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Must be able to work rotating shift, to include evenings, weekends, holidays and MWR Special events.
- A food handler’s certificate is required.
- Work requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Successful completion of business operations required specified training.

**Qualifications**:
A minimum of 6 months experience effectively working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

**Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials**
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. **_If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._** Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). - Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Night differential may be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
