As part of the DZL, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, we, as the Section of Pediatric Pneumology & Allergology at the UKSH Lübeck, recruit children and adolescents with asthma and comparative non-asthmatic controls. Our aim is to develop precision medicine for heterogeneous syndrome asthma using high-resolution clinical and molecular characterisation.

Our laboratory at the Lübeck site is involved in the recruitment, sample processing, measurement and phenotyping of the long-term cohort ALLIANCE (All Age Asthma Cohort) - German Center for Lung Research (dzl.de ) and other pediatric clinical cohorts. We engage at the forefront of identifying basic biological pathways that can be future points of intervention in patients.

We are looking for professional and competent support to start **as soon as possible**, **limited** until 31.12.2027.

- The salary will be based on the German E 13 TV-L scale (65 %), if terms and conditions under collective bargaining law are fulfilled

**Your profile**:

- Completed studies in Natura / Life sciences (M.Sc.)
- A strong enthusiasm for the progression of scientific knowledge related to basic biological principles
- Experience in clinical and/or basic laboratory research environments (preferred)
- Strong interest in translating basic research into a clinical context
- Very good English speaking and writing skills (German also appreciated)
