Senior Accountant

We are looking for a strong Accountant at LUKSO, to take responsibility for our book-keeping and financial tasks for the Agency of the Future GmbH, the operating arm of the LUKSO Blockchain. You'll take ownership of accounting as well as payables and receivables together with our Finance Manager, COO Arsalaan and will support our Chief of Staff Martyna.

- Collaborated closely with our Founders and Leaders, to create an autonomous process, underlined with trust.
- Managing our accounting processes, processing journal entries to ensure a proper recording of all business transactions.
- Update of accounts receivable and accounts payable in DATEV, invoice verification, and entry.
- Settlement of travel expenses and reimbursements.
- Assisted in the internal recording of Blockchain transactions.
- Assist in the processing of management reporting.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Support in the development and process optimisation of the internal accounting department.
- Created and implemented enhanced financial reporting procedures to improve operational efficiency and accuracy (this is more for management accountant - finance manager).
- Assisted with monthly invoice payment processing, prepared reports, budgets and other financial accountancy deliverables.
- Acquired institutional knowledge of LUKSOs financial process and the Web3 space.
- Mentored any other additional hires within Accounting, to get them up to speed with our processes and procedures.
- Built relationships with internal and external partners/stakeholders.

**A background like this helps**:

- Professional experience working with German accounting, including systems and tools (DATEV, etc).
- 3+ years of working as an Accountant within the German jurisdiction.
- Experience in administration of travel expenses and receipts.
- Well-organised, with exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
- A demonstrated interest in Cryptocurrencies/Blockchain Technology is a strong plus, with a willingness and ability to learn on a daily basis.
- Professional language skills in German and English verbally and in writing.
