**What you should know about the Job**:
**You face challenges such as**:
- performing defined quality inspections until product delivery
- measuring and evaluating engine, valve components, and ALM parts on 3D measuring machines
- handling various testing and measuring equipment safely (e.g. roughness and contour measuring devices)
- identifying deviations on products, equipment, and test equipment
- identifying deviations and certifying product conformity according to design documents
- creating quality reports
- conducting measurements using optical 2D and 3D inspection methods
- closely collaborating with other departments such as manufacturing and design
**You inspire us with**:
- your completed vocational training in a metalworking profession or your master craftsman or technician in the same field
- at least 3 years of professional experience in metrology, quality management, and quality assurance, as well as ideally your experience in turning and milling
- your excellent skills in working with SAP/R3
- your good understanding of complex drawings with complex form and positional tolerances, as well as your confident handling of various testing and measuring equipment (e.g. roughness-contour measuring devices)
- your good knowledge in handling measuring devices relevant for quality inspection, as well as knowledge in working with 3D measuring devices (optical and tactile) desirable
- your good communication skills to ensure information flow and your ability to integrate into a team
- your sense of responsibility, resilience, and organizational skills
- negotiation skills in German and English
