Chief Knowledge Officer

We are looking for a Chief Knowledge Officer to help us envision, define and create cutting-edge product development solutions around customer experience in the automotive and mobility industry.
Leveraging your extensive experience, process know-how and your deep knowledge in automotive UX, you will be Icon Incar’s most senior practitioner dedicated to consult, advise and guide our clients and our internal teams around ways to create future digital automotive experiences in meaningful, smart and future-friendly ways.

Because you are always on top of the game —not just understanding the status quo but also what it takes to be successful in the future— you will shape new processes and define relevant toolchains and requirements to help us succeed, together with partner teams of technology, strategy and design, in building and maintaining customized and proprietary productivity tools, and to make them a core part of Icon Incar’s service offering.

**In a nutshell**: the near-term mission is to smartly automate and shorten production processes and time-to-market through the use of smart tools and business processes, while in parallel the long-term vision is to heavily support creative processes through AI to render production processes obsolete by creating a highly responsive, customizable and efficient production environment and pipeline.

What will you do?
- Support production-oriented programs, already in very early strategy phases
- Consult clients on effective design & development processes, tools and toolchains
- Analyze global market trends and identify business opportunities for icon incar
- Consult internal teams, share deep industry insights on a frequent base (know-ledge sharing & tutoring)
- Integration of new tools and toolchains into the design
- and development teams
- Define toolchain and tool requirements, collaborating with the Exec board in making these recommendations actionable
- Jointly develop business cases for potential products in that space with support from the controlling and finance team
- Create custom tool chains, plugins, and software solutions together with your experience, development and design teams
- Coordinate hiring priorities with other entities
- Set clear goals and success metrics by using a shared OKR system

Who are you?
- Demonstrate experience running multiple automotive HMI projects with 2D and 3D pipelines
- Min. 10 years of automotive OEM or design agency experience in the automotive HMI space
- Fluency in User Experience Design
- In depth knowledge of the automotive industry, especially HMI design and development processes
- Global account management, budgeting, forecasting and P&L experience and understanding
- Ability to write effective project briefs and get the best inputs from clients
- Excellent people skills and soft-management abilities
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; exceptional presentation skills
- A strong strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
- Genuine interest in current trends, brands and design and the mobility world in general
- An understanding of AI driven design development tools and processes is a plus
- The position is in Germany. International travel is required occasionally.
