**Lead Content Designer**

As the Lead Content Designer based in Frankfurt you will be the driving force of missions and sandbox content for Star Citizen. Working with the Designer Director and Narrative team you'll be creating everything you can think of within a Universe, from entire solar systems to the smallest creature in the darkest cave. Founded in 2012, Cloud Imperium Games creates cutting-edge videogames that defy expectations. We're currently developing Star Citizen, a record-breaking multiplayer online space sim, and Squadron 42, a cinematic single-player adventure set in the same universe. Join us as we break boundaries and make videogame history. We are a crowdfunded company and have a dedicated and enthusiastic community of backers who are helping us create the “Best Damn Space Sim Ever”.

**What does a Lead Content Designer do at CIG?**
- Spearhead the creation and implementation of missions and sandbox content that brings life to the Star Citizen universe.
- Work together with Design Direction to ensure the content being developed by each individual designer is consistent and matches the unified direction of the game.
- Work closely with the Game and Level Designers to ensure your team has all the gameplay mechanics, environments and tools it needs to be able to create fun and exciting new content.
- Work closely with the Narrative department to ensure the director's vision of the world is reflected in the missions and content your team implements.
- Drive the creation of entire solar systems from suns, planets and other celestial bodies, to the smallest critter scouring in the deepest cave.
- Coordinate the on-boarding and training of new Content Designers, mentor them, develop their skills and provide daily feedback to help them grow in their roles.

**What do we expect from our Lead Content Designer?**
- Proven experience leading content/mission/quest design teams on a AAA project, with excellent understanding of both scripted and sandbox gameplay.
- Be able to lead and mentor a team of designers of various levels of experience and talents
- Have good knowledge of visual scripting and writing/narrative skills.
- Able to work to strict deadlines and constantly deliver at the high quality standards.
- Experience working on multiplayer games
