There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. In coordination with your Team Lead, working from home is possible also. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. The position is remunerated with 14 Euro per hour.- As Student Assistant in our MEAL team (MEAL = Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning), which is part of the Sector Strategy, Knowledge & Learning Unit, you will actively contribute to strengthening Welthungerhilfe's MEAL system. In doing so, you will focus on the data-based reporting of the MEAL team with emphasis on Measuring Success (= indicator-based system of global success monitoring of Welthungerhilfe). In close cooperation with other Units, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the activities of the organization and get to know the different work areas of an international operating NGO.**Your responsibilities**: - Support the organization-wide rollout of comprehensive changes to the Measuring Success framework (drafting/revising guidelines, templates, and other publications on the collection of quantitative and qualitative data in the field of Measuring Success) - Provide support for the further development of knowledge management in the context of Measuring Success (e.g. revision/maintenance of the Measuring Success Wiki on Welthungerhilfe's intranet pages) - Support the communication with MEAL colleagues in our Country Offices on Measuring Success issues - Support the preparation and implementation of presentations and webinars - Take over additional MEAL relevant tasks on demand**Your profile**: - You are currently enrolled at university, ideally in the field of social sciences, economics or international relations. - Ideally, you have initial experience in editing websites (MS Sharepoint) and data analysis (e.g. Power BI, R, Stata, SPSS) - A high level of organizational diligence as well as an accurate and reliable way of working characterize you. - You enjoy activities in the context of development cooperation, including communication with colleagues in our partner countries. - Very good written and spoken German and English language skills are required, French language skills would be an advantage.**Our offer**: - We offer you the opportunity to work in a responsible and interesting field as part of an extremely dedicated team.
