**Job Description Summary**: The acoustic and installation aerodynamics team in Munich is looking for a student on a yearlong industrial internship with a background in computational aeroacoustics and fluid dynamics in the framework of aircraft engines. The working student will support the acoustics team by analyzing the existing and new fan/propeller architectures using fluid dynamics and acoustic methods and test rig data.

**Essential Responsibilities**

The student will be responsible for the planning, execution, and presentation of project results under the supervision of a dedicated mentor in the team. The task will involve the acoustic assessment of engine sub-systems and its components.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Studying/Completed master’s degree in aerospace engineering with preference to CFD/CAA.
- Domain knowledge of Aeroacoustics and fluid dynamics
- Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink and Python
- Proficiency in using some standard CFA/CAA tools and skill to deliver useful information from simulations
- Knowledge about fundamentals of aeroacoustics - noise generation and propagation
- Ability to work in cross-functional global team in multi-cultural environments.
- Fluency in English.
