Senior) Data Scientist

Your tasks

We are looking for a curious and driven (Senior) Data Scientist to join our R&D team in the field of tire development. This role focuses on the exploration and validation of innovative data-driven use cases that support the development of next-generation tire technologies. You will work closely with engineers, material developers, and product teams to turn data into actionable insights.
- Identify and explore new data science use cases in tire R&D, from concept to prototype
- Analyze experimental and simulation data to uncover patterns and opportunities
- Develop and test machine learning models and statistical analyses to support product innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings through clear visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks for data exploration and modeling

**Profile**:

- Academic degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Several years of experience in data science or applied analytics (internships and academic projects count)
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages; experience with data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, matplotlib)
- Solid understanding of statistics, data wrangling, and machine learning fundamentals
- Very good English language skills (written and spoken), German language skills are optional
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for experimentation and innovation
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
