User Researcher

**Your mission**:
As the first **User Researcher (M/F/d) **to join our team, your role is to find out what professional drivers and couriers need from Bliq. You will design and conduct user research, collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data analysts, and many others to inform and inspire the direction of our products and company.

**In particular, you will**:

- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of user research - initiating, planning, gathering, and analyzing insights on our drivers and couriers
- Managing the usability and accessibility testing process - recruiting participants, designing test tasks, preparing discussion guides, moderation, analysis, and presenting results
- Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize research efforts based on strategic goals and company objectives
- Perform usability studies to help the product team understand what will make the experience with our product more intuitive, accessible, and seamless
- Provide support to product managers conducting tactical research, ensuring they are confident and following research processes and best practices
- Support our growth team to test content and customer support to triangulate customer needs
- Build the framework for user research at the company, including any processes and best practices for Bliq

**Your profile**:
You are right for this role if you are a true jack of all trades in user research, you embrace the opportunity of joining a company at an early stage, and you are not afraid to work hands-on and deeply involve yourself in every single aspect of building a successful product.
- You have a proven multi-year track record as a User Researcher, UX Researcher or similar role in a fast-moving startup environment
- You are a mixed-methods researcher experienced in both qualitative and quantitative research but lean more toward quantitative methods
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative information
- You have very strong prioritization skills to balance feasibility with time and resource constraints, distinguishing critical from non-critical issues
- You have confidence in explaining user needs and presenting them to your stakeholders, and acting as a persuasive advocate throughout the company about the benefits of user research
- You have experience with and a passion for user-centered design practices and a portfolio to demonstrate this
- You have experience with and are comfortable working with agile development teams. You will be able to introduce user research practices into a team, drive a user-centered culture, and continually monitor and improve practices.
- You have proven experience in understanding user needs and complex user journeys
- You have excellent communication skills in English (our main working language at Bliq)
- You have an excellent eye for detail and high-quality standards for yourself as well as your colleagues
- You are a real team player that thrives in a collaborative environment
- You are located in or +/-2 time zones from Berlin

Bonus points
- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, psychology, statistics, or another relevant field
- Relevant work experience as a startup's first user researcher
- Familiarity with the on-demand industry, particularly ride-hailing and delivery
