**Job Summary**:
The Senior Advisor - Physical Security is an embedded role with one of Pinkerton's esteemed clients, who are a major energy supplier in Germany. The Senior Advisor plays a crucial role in analyzing security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities and crafting strategic initiatives to proactively safeguard the client's employees, assets, property, and brand reputation. They ensure that the client's security programs not only meet but also strive to exceed industry standards and legal mandates. The Senior Advisor acts as the primary expert, resource, and liaison with law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and service providers.

**Essential Functions**:

- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Develop strategies to identify, assess, prevent, and mitigate all risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, with the ultimate aim of safeguarding the well-being of individuals, assets, products, and property while also ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
- Develop, implement, manage, review, and audit all security programs, policies, and procedures.
- Promote consistency in the client's physical security policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and other requirements.
- Establish continuous communication with senior management regarding the status of security issues, emerging risks, and related recommendations.
- Procure, manage, develop, or monitor the performance of all security service providers, consultants, and contractors.
- Create metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of all security programs and personnel.
- Proactively establish and maintain relationships with appropriate government and law enforcement agencies.
- Lead or provide technical support for major incident investigations related to security issues.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting to support business needs, goals, and objectives.
- Stay current with relevant industry regulations and standards related to risk management and ensure that the organization's risk practices and processes comply with all applicable requirements.
- Oversee procurement and management of security service providers, including onboarding, evaluation, and control.
- Perform security needs analysis and formulate and execute security strategies.
- Procure, operate, and maintain security technology and equipment.
- Manage reports, handle disruptions, and integrate new systems into control centers.
- Plan and implement security concepts for events.
- Handle security-related incidents and support investigations.
- All other duties, as assigned.

**Education, Experience, and Certifications**:
Degree (or higher) in security or risk management with seven years of domain experience in enterprise, security, or operational risk management and three years' experience working in a leadership position in a corporate security management environment.
