Sie arbeiten im Team für Züchtungstechnologie für Mais und Ölsaaten bei der KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA in Einbeck, Deutschland. **Ihre Aufgaben**: - Durchführung von Sequenzabgleichen und -assemblierungen zur Identifizierung von Sequenzvarianten für die Entwicklung molekularer Marker - Serviceorientierte Anwendung molekularer Marker in Hybridzüchtungsprogrammen für Mais und Ölsaaten (weltweit) - Koordination und Durchführung von Gewächshausprogrammen zur Probenahme von Pflanzenmaterial für molekulargenetische Experimente - Planung von Laboraufträgen, Probenahme, Analyse und Interpretation von Genotypisierungsdaten sowie Berichterstattung der Ergebnisse an interne Kunden - Mitwirkung an der Standardisierung und Automatisierung interner Datenbanken für Genotypisierungsprozesse und Merkmalsentwicklung **Ihr Profil**: - Hochschulabschluss (Diplom, Bachelor, M.Sc.) in Biologie oder Agrarwissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt Züchtung und molekulare Genetik oder vergleichbar - Erfahrung in der Analyse von Next-Generation-Sequencing-Daten und Genotypdaten - Kenntnisse und praktische Erfahrung in der molekularen Pflanzenbiologie und Bioinformatik - Praktische Erfahrung im Pflanzenanbau und der Probenahme im Gewächshaus - Erfahrung im Umgang mit großen Datensätzen und Programmierkenntnisse in R sind von Vorteil - Leidenschaft für Prozessexzellenz, serviceorientiertes Arbeiten sowie gute vorausschauende Planung und Aufgabenmanagement - Abteilungsübergreifendes Denken und Wertschätzung von Vielfalt als Teamstärke - Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, weitere Sprachkenntnisse (idealerweise Deutsch) sind von Vorteil **Säen Sie Ihre Zukunft mit KWS**: - Als familiengeführtes Unternehmen leben wir eine Kultur geprägt von den Werten "Nähe, Verlässlichkeit, Weitblick und Unabhängigkeit". - Wir bieten Ihnen eine intensive und ausführliche Einarbeitung in unsere betrieblichen Prozesse. - Sie arbeiten in einem starken Team mit modernster Technik an anspruchsvollen und abwechslungsreichen Aufgaben und bekommen die Möglichkeit eigenverantwortlich zu handeln. - Wir fördern ein vertrauensvolles, respektvolles und freundliches Arbeitsklima, in dem Ihre Ideen und Ihr Einsatz geschätzt werden.
