Elba Dresden Holding & Co. KG is part of a wider group, which owns and manages hotels in various European countries. The group has a very diversified portfolio ranging from full service to limited-service business hotels, large conference hotels, aparthotels, boutique hotels and high-end luxury hotels, mainly in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Spain and the Netherlands. The company operates from Frankfurt am Main and is the financial headquarter where financial services are provided to the individual portfolios.

**Role: Group Finance Specialist**

**Job specification**:
**Finance & Accounting**
- Set timetable and be responsible for the timely delivery of bank covenant compliance reporting for the Group of companies;
- Implement processes and controls at each level of entity to ensure books and records of all entities are compliant with local requirements and bank loan agreement;
- Oversee accounting for all intercompany items within the Groups;
- Work closely with the financial asset and operational managers on an adhoc basis, assisting with financial input and preparation of analytical reports for driving business performance
- Assist on the year-end audit process for the Groups at both group and local entity and hotel levels including liaising with external audit firms, accounting for audit adjustments, providing hotel controllers with assistance, controlling all corporate elements;
- Assist on preparation of group consolidation quarterly as required under the bank loan agreement for the Groups;
- Assist on preparation of all entities local financial statements and ensure filed on time;
- Assist on corporate cost budget for all entities together with quarterly actual to budget updates;
- Check and monitor fixed asset movements quarterly booked by the hotels;
- Prepare monthly hotel trading report

**Tax**
- Ensure VAT processes and controls at all entities is working in accordance with local requirements;
- Assisting with tax authority audits in Germany or other countries adhoc;
- Assisting with other tax, legal and structuring matters on an adhoc basis;
**Treasury**
- Obtain cash flows from hotel controllers monthly and prepare the German cash flows and other corporate entity cash flows;
- Prepare consolidated cash flow using the above information monthly;
- Maintain intercompany loan, interest, FFE accounts, cash pool accounts;
**Requirements**:

- Very good accounting skills (at least 4 years experience)
- Solid English language
- Very good Excel knowledge
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently
- A team player, adept at building relationships across the organization
