**Your role**:As the Head of Sourcing DS&S and Specialty Gases, you will report directly to the Head of Sourcing Electronics and take charge of strategic sourcing; category management for a €500 million global spend portfolio encompassing valves, regulators, controllers, and etch gases. In addition, for DS&S (Delivery Systems & Services) you will as well manage Supplier Quality and ensure smooth execution of purchasing activities. This pivotal role requires you to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders across the organization, driving growth in the highly competitive electronics sector. In this capacity, you will be a strategic partner to the Executive Vice President for DS&S and Specialty Gases, formulating and executing comprehensive procurement strategies that ensure intentional spend allocation with a strong emphasis on sustainability and diversity. You will lead a global team of 27 Sourcing and Supplier Quality Managers, leveraging insights into market trends and supply dynamics to shape effective procurement strategies. Additionally, you will manage category risks, contribute to the Electronics Procurement Leadership Team, and identify innovative opportunities for efficiency through technology and automation. Your leadership will extend to mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of high performance and succession planning.
**Who you are**:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, science, or business administration; an MBA is highly desirable.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes.
- You bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, sales, or related functions within global environments, preferably in the semiconductor, display, or chemical industries.
- You are recognized as a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation skills and a cost-sensitive approach.
- You have a proven track record of building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- You are a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- You are a collaborative leader with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
- You are willing to travel and demonstrate flexibility in working hours to accommodate the global nature of the role.
- You are an experienced people leader, passionate about nurturing the next generation of procurement leaders.
