We are looking for an experienced **Product Design Lead **to lead the designers of all product teams within the Device Experience Group - the group which is in charge of our physical tado° products. You'll work closely with your counterparts within the leadership team, the Product Management Lead and the Engineering Lead of the group. This is a full time, permanent position. **Your responsibilities will include**: - You'll be in charge of building a strong design competence within your group. Your main responsibility will be to lead & coach the group's designers, and ensure good alignment between them to achieve a holistic product experience for our users. - As a member of the groups leadership team you'll work on the vision and strategic direction of the groups products and align on it with the product teams and the upper management. - Together with your leadership counterparts you'll evangelise cross-functional collaboration and a lean mindset. - You'll guide the group in user centric product discovery, ensuring we deliver valuable solutions to our users and great outcomes for our business **Requirements**: - You are an expert in user centric development of consumer hardware and can have in depth experience in guiding cross-functional teams in discovering valuable products. - You have 5 or more years of experience in creating industrial design, interaction design and digital UX of physical products and bringing them to the market. Minimum one year as a people manager, leading other designers. - In your previous roles you have proven your analytical approach in making evidence based design decisions. - You are not a perfectionist but rather evangelise a lean way of working and value frequent user feedback and fast experimentation over creating extensive concepts. - You are conscientious, used to taking initiative over receiving directions, and can manage your time and focus. - You have excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
