For Primary Schools in Spandau, Pankow, Lankwitz (Steglitz), Marzahn, Hellersdorf, Mariendorf (Tempelhof), and Köpenick

Die kleinen Sprachkönige by Intellego has been offering English classes as an after-school activity in Berlin's primary schools for over a decade. We are currently expanding our pool of substitute English teachers to cover grades 1 and 2 in these specific areas.

Once approved through our process, you will be contacted to substitute when required. There is also the possibility of transitioning to a main teaching role if desired and the opportunity arises.
- Currently live in Berlin (near the abovementioned areas) and have a long-term residence.
- Hold a valid work permit as a freelancer

We are looking for reliable, open-minded individuals who:

- Are fluent in English (little to no accent)
- Have basic German skills (at least A2-level CEF)
- Love working with young children (ages 6-9) and have at least 1 year of experience with this age group
- Are creative, joyful, and authentic in their teaching approach
- Have prior teaching experience (at least 1 year)
- Are Berlin-based (permanent residence in Berlin)

We offer:

- Above-average hourly pay: 30€/60min
- Travel allowance: up to 15€ per trip.
