As part of this program, NXP will build a brand-new laboratory for high frequency technologies in Hamburg. The “THz Lab” will serve as a competence center to define and develop new concepts for test and validation of RF demonstrators, RF systems, and RF solutions in the sub-THz spectrum and beyond (frequency range 100GHz). The THz Lab will be a key player in supporting product development for the 6th generation of mobile communications (6G) within NXP.
**Your Tasks**:
- Develop automated test routines and automated control of devices
- Develop remote control of measurement equipment
- Develop automated storage of measurement data
- Contribute to the NXP-wide lab automation library
- Perform RF measurements to ensure the correct functionality of the code for automation
- Work closely with lab engineers to improve the lab automation
**Requirements**:
- Student of electrical engineering, information technology, techno-mathematics, computer science, or computer engineering
- Good programming skills, preferably in Python
- Experience with RF measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzer, power sources, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Structured, well organized and flexible
- Team player with good communication skills, fluent English (spoken and written)
