**Profile Test Engineering (Senior) Director**

To lead Test Engineering management team, we are looking for an enthusiastic manager who is capable to manage a large team of engineers transforming to next level of performance. Key in this role is to enable change of test development process and mature the test development team for the increasing complexity of our products/project. Clear mindset to improve development efficiency, time-to-market and product test cost. You will be part of a top technical development community which is leading edge within the served market. You will work in an international setting with main interaction to people and groups in Europe, India and Taiwan. Good communication, change and people management skills are key to the success of the job.

The engineers are master/bachelor level working in focused teams of 5-15 engineers providing full test engineering solutions (HW/SW) for state-of-the art mmWave Radar System-on-Chip (SoC) developments of the product line Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), mixed signal SoC developments for Infotainment product line and dedicated mixed signal processors for the Health product line. Next to own employees, there are a significant number of contractors from key suppliers involved which needs to be co-managed.

For the role of leading the test engineers, he / she ensures proper alignment of the tasks and work packages executed by the engineers with the relevant project managers in the BL in cooperation with the Design-for-Test (DfT) and Product Engineering (PE) teams in Europe and Asia. Next he/she ensures the team has the proper competences to execute by training & selective hiring. By this he/she ensures together with his global peers that the way-of-working and methodology for the assigned tasks is further developed. For the team he/she enables that a proper environment with access to development tools (HW & SW) is established as well as links to the relevant supporting organizations.

The Test Engineering manager reports directly to the VP Operations of the BL-RFP. The manager will work in close cooperation with Design-for-Test, Product engineering director and leading the Test engineering managers located in Hamburg (Germany), Nijmegen (Netherlands), Bangalore (India) and Kaohsiung (Taiwan) being part of the TE organization. Furthermore close cooperation with colleagues in Hardware and Software Design departments in Europe and Asia is expected

**Key Qualifications**:

- M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- 10 + years experience in Semiconductor
- 7+ years experience in management,
- Knowledge of Semiconductor Test Development for large analog/digital SoC’s
- Experience working in a multicultural environment, understanding cultural difference, able to make the proper bridges in maximizing the opportunities inherently available due to the large diversity in people.
- Experience with highly demanding (Automotive) customer environment
- Knowledge of frontend and backend semiconductor processes
- Proper understanding of Design-for-Test and Product Engineering work
- Proper understanding of project management
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferably track record of people management
- Change driver, able to balance multiple stakeholders, strong execution driven.

Business Line Radio Frequency Processing (BL-RFP) develops new products in the field of Automotive Driver Assistant Systems like RADAR front-end & processing. Next to this it also develops complete Infotainment products from RF receptions down to information & audio outputs including all processing. As a 3rd part it develops products for the Health market, focusing on a variety of hearable devices and solutions to log the environment and the use of medicines in smart tags.
