Your tasks will include:
- Preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, including consolidation in LucaNet
- Preparation of ad-hoc financial reports
- Assume responsibility for all accounting related topics of domestic and international subsidiaries
- Perform quarterly reviews of submitted reporting packages on domestic and international subsidiaries, ensuring uniform accounting and valuation throughout the group
- Prepare notes to the consolidated financial statements and management report
- Act as the contact person for group accounting related topics for internal departments, accounting service providers, and auditors
- Manage projects for group-wide standardization and harmonization of group accounting processes as well as development and implementation of new processes in group accounting
Your Profile:
- University degree in business administration, accounting, economics, MBA, or industrial engineering with a focus on (group) accounting, financial reporting, finance, or auditing
- Multiple years of sound professional experience in group accounting, reporting, and consolidation of an internationally oriented company and/or in an auditing firm
- Key technical accounting skills according to HGB and/or IFRS
- Strong professional commitment, communication and teaming skills
- Confidence in dealing with numbers, enjoyment working in a dynamic and international environment
- Robust problem-solving and organizational skills
- Analytical, independent, reliable, result-oriented, and diligent
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- Practical experience with LucaNet or other consolidation software
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
