**This position can be filled using a hybrid approach, with the option to work in our Berlin or Hamburg office for two days per week.**

**What You Will Do**
- Own the entire accounts payable process for our German entities
- Book various business transactions (AP, GL, Intercompany) and prepare/execute payments
- Book cash/bank reconciliations
- Assist with cash planning procedures
- Ensure account reconciliations are completed on time and open items are cleared in a timely manner, especially with the monthly reporting requests
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with IFRS and HGB
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the Group’s internal financial processes, reporting, and control system
- Support with local statutory audit and tax filing preparations and submissions in accordance with German laws
- Interact with other internal stakeholders in accounting matters as needed

**Job requirements**:
**What You Will Bring**
- Completed vocational training or university degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in Accounting and prior experience with the HGB (German GAAP)
- Prior work experience with an ERP system (we work in Oracle NetSuite), MS Office and Excel
- Full business proficiency in both **English and German**
- Knowledge in IFRS is highly desirable
