At our beautiful site in Waldbronn, close to Karlsruhe, our division is organized in cross-functional teams working on a wide variety of products in the analytical lab space.

**How you can contribute**:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a shown ownership of process, project, and tactics execution.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Lead Agilent's Multivendor Instrument Control Program as a cross-organizational program, running design and evolution of Agilent's Instrument Control Framework, the portfolio of non-Agilent instrument control drivers for OpenLab CDS as well as integration of Agilent instrument drivers into non-Agilent data systems
- Negotiate internally and externally with external business partners and instrument manufacturers
- Keep business stakeholders and external parties in alignment
- Lead a cross-functional team of project managers, product support engineers, test engineers, product owners in tight coordination with the Business Partner Manager
- Lead and manage individual contributors and supervisors who develop instrument control software and frameworks in an agile scrum environment
- Accountability for developing ?future proof? concepts for multivendor environments, quality and on-time delivery of products.
- Lead talent and develop individuals and build strong, effective teams

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced University degree in Software Engineering (Master’s preferred) and 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience in software design and development of standalone and client/server software products, using Microsoft technologies including C#,.NET Framework and.NET Core
- 5+ years of demonstrated results in leading technical teams as project manager, architect or scrum-master, including 3+ years of shown results in leading effective cross-functional teams in the execution of processes, projects and tactics
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, in English and German

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Prior experience as a first line manager
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed team
- Experience in serving life science markets and their specific regulatory requirements (specifically GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and medical device regulations)
