Business Controller

We are looking for a Business Controller in Building Solutions Europe division sales controlling team, located in Frankfurt or Hassfurt office, supporting business development area. In this role, you will participate in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes of business development markets, and act as a business partner to department heads to analyze the business performance and support business decisions from a financial perspective. Additionally, you will be working closely with our Business Controller network across Europe in a dynamic and attractive working environment.
What will you be doing?
- Evaluate and analyze the financial sales performance according to defined KPIs, perform profitability analysis by customer and product, follow up on cost development and propose necessary actions to management.
- Active involvement in monthly reporting, budgeting and forecast process.
- Monitor data quality and settings in relevant database (ERP, BI) and facilitate connecting processes from other departments.
- Credit limit monitoring and risk review according to defined process.
- Participate in European controlling projects to support process improvement and new financial tool implementation.
- Work on ad-hoc requests to support business and decision-making.
What will you need?
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 3 years’ experience in Controlling, preferably in sales controlling and in multinational company
- Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking as well as solid financial/accounting know how
- Confident and experienced in common analytics tools
- Good communication skills with interest in business/sales processes
- Enjoy working in multicultural teams
- Excellent in English, German is an advantage
