**Working in** Energy Management**_:_**

Energy Management is responsible for managing energy of all Statkraft’s own and 3rd party assets and consumers in Europe, delivering production planning and access to physical energy markets. We also deliver weather, hydrology, climate and market analysis across Statkraft

Over the course of your assignment, you will become familiar with many aspects of the energy market, technology and the trading business. Since your work is at the heart of our business, you will always have expert support but we also expect you to work independently. There is always room for exploring new ideas and business and you will actively contribute to the further development and growth of Statkraft Markets, working closely with various departments in Germany, France, Norway, Albania, Turkey and the UK.

Your work will be in the centre of these activities and you will be given responsibility from day one. As part of the Continental Energy Management Platform team, you will:

- Support the VPP product owner by being the main contact to the internal and external customers for the Virtual Power Plant (VPP)
- Support onboarding process of decentralised energy plants to the VPP including asset connectivity
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to analyse and streamline operational and developmental requirements using agile methodology
- Support the product organisation regarding preparation of delivery status / meeting minutes
- Support Product Owner in progress and KPI reports
- Identify areas of improvement
- Oversee the implementation of new business processe

**Qualifications**:

- Student of natural sciences, economics, engineering or computer science
- Experience with rollout projects
- Knowledge about energy systems and digital system is a plus
- Very good scripting knowledge and experience in Python, Microsoft Excel VBA or similar
- Team player with good communication and cooperation skills
- Ability to summarize and solve problems in a fast and efficient way
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
- Fluent English skills
