**Master Thesis Project: Collaboration FU Berlin and MucosaTec GmbH for the Development of an antiviral Screening Assay**

**Your Tasks**:

- Develop a SPOT synthesis screening approach using a MultiPep1 robot.
- Screen new antiviral peptides through wet lab techniques (optional: in silico screening).
- Scale up peptide synthesis (SPPS).
- Perform chemical and enzymatic conjugation of peptides to mucin-binding proteins.
- Document, record, and analyze experimental results.
- Create and refine SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Validate methods and qualify laboratory equipment.

**What You Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, life sciences, or a related field.
- Strong curiosity, flexibility, conscientiousness, and attention to detail, especially in documentation and lab practices.
- Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written.
- An exploratory mindset, teamwork skills, respectful communication, adaptability, solution-oriented thinking, and accountability for your work.
