Plant Controller

We are looking for **Plant Controller. **The position is located in Korntal-Münchingen, directly reporting to Business Finance Manager German Cluster.

As a Plant Controller, you will assume direct responsibility of all accounting activities and financial information, in particular during monthly closing. You will ensure that accounting practices are in compliance with PPG Internal Control Standards and processed in a timely and correct manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Business Partnering with stakeholders (production/operations)
- Ensure cost control in all relevant areas on site
- Support business on capital investment projects
- Review accuracy and maintenance of product costs
- Deviation analysis and explanation of manufacturing variances
- Forecasting on production and related overhead costs
- Ensure compliance with US-GAAP and SOX
- Reports for regional authorities

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors' degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent
- Relevant work experience in controlling/finance, preferably in an international, matrix-organized context
- Good knowledge of the MS Office Package
- User knowledge in one of our standard ERPs systems Oracle/SAP; Navision a plus
- Strong analytical skills and natural capability in handling data
- Fluent in German, good command of the English language
- Adaptability to change in order to drive continuous performance, find and take advantage of opportunities
- Proven self-initiative, sense of urgency and responsibility
