DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking an Web Content Support Services Associate to support George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (GCMC) Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides Web Content Administration for the GCMC websites and data portals including posting provided content, revising current content, formatting content to fit specific websites, content management systems and data delivery portals.
- Ensures content posted to the public has prior approval by the Strategic Communications (STRATCOM) Office in accordance with DOD regulations and local Policies.
- Reviews webpage content or links and update items as needed in a timely manner, using appropriate tools. Contractor creates and adjusts visual aspects of content display.
- Assists other directorates with posting content to public and internal websites in coordination with COR.
- Ensures content meets all regulatory and operational security requirements and ensures site compliance with provisions of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
- Provides informal training and support to identified Government staff members to post, update and edit content on public and internal web portals, as needed, and in coordination with the COR.
- Undertake various content projects to enhance the overall visual effect of website.
- Maintain the graphic (visual) aspects of public and internal content hosting platforms for the GCMC. Contractor reviews new pages and documents to ensure correct formatting, optimum display of content, and properly functioning links. Contractor ensures new web pages are consistent with relevant design and formatting standards.
- Resolve inconsistencies of content in all web pages, changing formats in texts as needed, eliminate redundancy and provides consistent format and writing style throughout websites.
- Edits graphics and visual materials for GCMC content hosting systems, based on defined and undefined formats. Contractor resolves inconsistencies of display of graphics ensuring the proper format is achieved.

**Requirements**:

- IAT II Security+ Certification
- 2 years in website related experience

Ability to commute/relocate:

- 82467 Garmisch-Partenkirchen: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
