Global Head of Employment Taxes

We are looking for a Global Head of Employment Taxes (M/F/d) in full time preferably located in Germany-Holzkirchen or alternatively in Poland, Czech Republic.**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ensures all employment taxes (including social security) are correctly withheld, reported and paid globally (estimated at ~ USD 1 billion globally) for Sandoz. Ensures any Company employment tax filings globally (e.g. equity plan returns), working through country organizations to achieve this.
- Leads any employment tax audits globally.
- Accountable for defining and implementing global employment tax strategy, governance, principles and risk management. Runs a global organization of functionally-reporting employment tax professionals in the countries.
- Accountable for defining global process that ensures payroll accuracy with respect to employment tax (including social security) withholding, reporting and payment to authorities
- Accountable for any Company employment tax filings globally (e.g. share plan returns), working through country organizations to achieve this.
- Accountable for ensuring countries receive up-to-date information regarding local employment tax regulations and that those regulations are appropriately implemented.
- Signs-off on country tax positions for all global compensation and benefits (e.g. Equity, Global Benefits) including ways-of-working (e.g. flexible, remote working and short-term business travelers)

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Bachelor/ Master degree in Accounting/ Finance Business or related field is preferred
- Certified tax professional in at least one location
- profound working experience preferable in Tax/ Rewards/ Finance, preferably in matrix, international corporations. (Focus on TAX)
- Developed skills in stakeholder engagement and coordination Project lead experience
- Fluent English language skills
- Developed consulting skills
- Good writing and communication skills
- Good understanding of rewards practices
- Proven analytical and decision-making skills and ability to work with diverse cultures
- Experience in leadership, across borders and cultures
- Strong interest in technology optimization and customer experience
- Expertise in process design and controls
