**Duties**:

- Operates a cash register. Accepts cash, personal checks, credit cards, etc
- Prepares, verifies and issues change funds as required. Collects cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts and other supporting documentation.
- Compares register tapes with Daily Activity Report and researches any discrepancies, prepares and maintains cash overage and shortage records for each sales cashier daily.
- Maintains current dishonored check listing, verifies name, mailing address and telephone numbers. Assists in collection of dishonored check payments.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- (Environmental requirements, licenses, background checks, etc.)
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
