**About the Role**

We are looking for a Short-Term EUA Trader to join our growing Berlin office. This role provides the opportunity to develop a career in Carbon ETS Trading, as an integral part of the Trailstone Environmental Team, trading Compliance Carbon markets on a proprietary basis.

If you have strong programming and analytics experience, an interest in commodity trading and a commercial outset, we want to hear from you This role provides exposure in a fast-growing start-up environment within international commodity trading and asset management; including an attractive compensation package and bonus scheme.

This will be a full-time role, in our Berlin office, owning the following responsibilities:

- Gaining an in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals and technical dynamics of the Compliance Carbon markets.
- Optimising Intraday volatility and executing trades, including ownership of monitoring profit and loss.
- Working within a fast-paced team environment whilst managing market and operational risks.
- Contributing to and working as part of an entrepreneurial culture.

**About You**

We are looking for somebody with the following skills & attributes:
Essential Skills:

- Strong working knowledge of programming, with Python and/or C#.
- An academic or working background in data analytics, ideally within energy markets or portfolio optimisation.
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Business.
- Fluent English language skills. Other language skills are desirable but not essential.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of commodity trading and renewable energy is not essential - but an interest in developing expertise in these areas is a must-have
