We are looking for a full-time position at our locations in Rheinmünster as:
**Technical Service & Development Specialist CASE**

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Technical account responsibility/customer centricity
- Work with sales as part of the account team to build close customer relationships and enhance Trinseo’s technical leadership image
- Understand and proactively analyze customer’s product and service needs
- Recognize, anticipate, and solve customer problems by working collaboratively
- Use extensive knowledge of customers’ total needs and our product offerings to form account strategy: identify, assess and prioritize value growth and operational excellence initiatives
- Support customer in grade development and/or process improvements
- Identify new market opportunities and support existing business with technical expertise
- Implement new products at customers in close cooperation with other functions (sales, product research, process research, and manufacturing)
- Work closely with technician team to optimize resource use against opportunity size & timing
- Technology Leadership
- Develop and build relationships with external customers, suppliers, influencers, and decision makers through daily contacts and industry association activity
- Develop market recognized technical skills

**OUR REQUIREMENTS**:

- University degree in Chemistry, Physics or Engineering. Master’s degree or higher preferred
- Some years of experience in specialty chemicals, raw materials, additives, polymers (synthesis ideally emulsions) or formulated products (Pressure Sensitive Adhesives, Sealants, Coatings, other type of adhesives) are of advantage
- Knowledge and experience of adhesives, coatings and/or sealants
- Background in R&D, Product Development or Application Chemistry
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent worker, self-starter, hands-on and proactive personality
- Very good written and spoken English. German/French are a plus.
