Location Ratingen, Germany

Please note this is an Office based role

Salary £60-£70k (depending on experience)

Our client - a fast growing International manufacturing and distribution business is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join it’s team.

Reporting into Group Finance and to the Managing Director in Germany
- Preparing annual statutory accounts
- Working with external professional advisors in relation to statutory/ legal compliance (financial statements, VAT, withholding tax, corporation tax)
- Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts
- Control account and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Accruals & prepayments
- Fixed assets register
- General ledger
- VAT returns
- Ensure completeness of controls and process documentation
- Manage the relationship with the financing facility
- Budgets
- Cash flow Forecasts

The Right Person
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent German accounting qualification
- German accounting experience,
- Good Communicator able to present to senior management
- Able to fit into a dynamic business,
- Problem solver, being able to analyse and summarise data
- Excellent planning, organisation skills
- Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel (pivot charts / tables, macros, data models)
- Excellent communication skills in English and German (verbal and written).
