About the team:
The Central Eastern Europe and Nordics Coordination team in Germany is an enthusiastic team of professionals with extensive experience in processing visas for our clients who are based in countries where Fragomen does not have a physical office. We primarily oversee and manage immigration into the Nordics, Austria, Hungary, and Balkan region. We partner with local providers to deliver the full suite of immigration support to some of the biggest employers across multiple industries so you will be joining a team with many opportunities to learn new immigration processes and work with different people.

CEEN Coordination is a team of over 18 Fragomen dedicated country experts, from various backgrounds and countries with at least 10 different languages being spoken.

About the role:
Immigration Supervisors are responsible for providing immigration services to a range of clients across primarily, but not exclusively, European jurisdictions. You are expected to work in close collaboration with multi-jurisdictional teams and leverage knowledge sharing, relationship building and teamwork to ensure operational excellence within the team. Knowledge on Swedish immigration processes is preferred but not a must.

The Immigration Supervisor is as a reference point for day-to-day questions, is the allocated case manager for designated countries and should be a source of technical expertise for other members within the team.

Other key responsibilities will include:
- Act as the Line Manager to direct reports- Assist team manager in talent development of junior staff including training and coaching- Support team manager on advisory projects- Demonstrated experience with on-boarding new clients- Meet regularly with team management to report on team performance and outline strategic plans for team objectives- Support manager in third party vendor management and their performance- Case-working for a limited number of cases such as VIP’s, client onboarding consultations, advisory projects, etc.- Estimating short and long-term financial objectives by setting performance targets as well as identifying billing issues within the team and driving towards resolution- Identify training needs on multi-jurisdictional topics that affect team (EU directives, legislative changes, government process training, etc.) and ensure appropriate training is delivered- Undertake review of case configurations and communication templates to ensure firm consistency standards are met

About you:
To be successful in this role you must have previous leadership and people management skills as well as previous experience in the legal field. You are also a self-starter with excellent communication skills in English and demonstrate ability to manage your own time to ensure complete project planning and delivery of tasks on time.

Ideally you will have previous experience in legal research, client service and project management.

Also required:
- You will ideally have 3-4 years' experience working in corporate immigration- Experience with managing multiple, complex projects at one time- Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders simultaneously- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal in English. German language knowledge or other European languages' a plus- Drafting procurement processes and signing off on purchase orders.- Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines- At ease to work flexibly and accurately in a fast-paced environment- Experience in legal research, legal reviews and drafting.-

- Solution oriented mindset for complex situations / escalations implementing short terms and long term actions
