**Student Assistant Humanitarian Directorate**:
**in Bonn**:

- The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work up to 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. Mobile work within Germany is possible in agreement with your team. 100% mobile work is not possible. The position is remunerated with 15 Euro per hour.
- As student assistant in the Humanitarian Directorate, you will support Welthungerhilfe's emergency aid team in implementing emergency relief measures. Among other things, you will assist Welthungerhilfe's Emergency Response Team with coordination and administration and participate in humanitarian mapping.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Maintenance of the operational and administrative tools of the Emergency Response Team and the Assessment, Analysis and Action Team, including preparation of statistics and support with rebooking operations
- Updating of relevant team documents
- Maintenance and updating of information material, as well as maintenance of web-based information platforms (especially Sharepoint)
- Supporting the conception and design of publications, conference contributions, and presentations
- Supporting the administration of projects
- Creating new Welthungerhilfe maps and updating existing ones
- Taking minutes of meetings

**Your profile**:

- You are currently enrolled at a university/college, preferably in the field of humanitarian emergency aid
- You have good IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Publisher, SharePoint, Outlook)
- Ideally, you have some knowledge of ESRI QGIS
- You are thorough and pay attention to detail
- You have very good written and spoken English skills
