Head of Health, Safety and Environment

**Zu Ihren zukünftigen Aufgaben gehören**:

- Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Report to top management on the performance of the HSE management system and any need for improvement.
- Lead the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and review of HSE objectives, targets, aspects, and programs across the organization.
- Develop and maintain the occupational safety management system.
- Develop, implement, and maintain company HSE frameworks (policies, plans, procedures, manuals, and processes) in line with the regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant Health and Safety legislation across the organization. Monitor legislative updates and review the HSE program as required to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Lead a program of audit and inspections to measure, and report on compliance across the organization.
- Ensure that an adequate program of training for health and safety is established.
- Lead digitalization and implementation of required HSE Software’s.
- Analyze and report the relevant HSE KPI´s and develop them further in a future oriented manner.
- Carries out analysis of safety events, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.

**Wir wünschen uns**:

- University degree or completed apprenticeship.
- 5-10 years of experience in the area of Health, Safety and Environment, ideally with a background working within the automotive, aerospace or closely related manufacturing and engineering sectors.
- Deep understanding of HSE European (preferably German) rules and regulations.
- Profound experience in a leadership role and in the management of different teams.
- Proficiency in working with MS Office products.
- Fluent English language skills required, fluency in German would be beneficial.
- Working on-site (remote work possible) and submission of English resume required
