LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - HEIDELBERG/GERMANY
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Technical Centre in Heidelberg, Germany.
In 2003 Allegro Microsystems established a first Technical Centre in France to provide high end technical support to key customers. Based on this success in 2016 a second Technical Centre was being established in Heidelberg, Germany to further strengthen Allegro’s technical presence and business development activities in Europe, with focus on the German market.
In this position, you will work closely together with the Applications / Systems Engineering teams in Germany, France and USA, and support the sales and quality departments.
**Responsibilities**:
- Control the setup of the lab in the Heidelberg office;
- Work on the standardization of lab procedures and development of new test systems to improve data collection;
- Provide technical support to European customers for all sensor products through laboratory measurements;
- Evaluation and characterization of existing as well as new sensor products to validate electrical and magnetic performance;
- Document and communicate characterization results to internal and external team members through technical reports.
Desired skills and expertise:
- Characterization of analog / digital circuits in laboratory;
- Software development for programming of electronic components;
- Hardware development for data acquisition;
- Good level in German and English.
