We are now looking for a

**Project Purchaser (M/F/d)**

to join our team in Hamburg, Germany.

**As Project Purchaser you will focus on these responsibilities**:

- Checking and processing of purchase requisitions or bill of materials
- Process purchase orders as well as related correspondence and communication
- Maintain purchase data and follow up missing data in all relevant systems (SAP, supplier portal, storage system, etc.)
- Monitor deliveries proactively to avoid delays including supplier notifications and reminders
- Invoice handling on own PO’s
- Handle supplier information in non-conformity cases
- Support or run supplier price negotiations in collaboration with strategic purchase
- Gathering supplier data such as spot savings and other agreed KPI related figures and providing data to relevant functions
- Support end of life actions on supplier side of products and systems
- Cooperation with project purchase and strategic purchase

**The below will enable you to shine in this role**:

- Education as Industrial Purchaser
- 3-5 year experience with operational purchasing
- Some experience with project purchasing
- Experience from production scheduling or material planning is an advantage
- Technical background in electrical and/or automation is beneficial, but not a demand
- Strong personal drive, used to taking own initiatives and being pro-active
- Self-running and target oriented
- A systematic and active approach to work
- Good skills in communication and team work
- Cost focused
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
