You support our team as
Head of local Procurement & SCM in Turkey/Istanbul (f/m/d)
**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for the local Procurement & SCM Organization
Define the local targets in alignment with the global management
Fulfill and report the local targets with the local Procurement & SCM Team
Continuous improvement of procurement & SCM in effectiveness and efficiency
Local implementation of processes, standards and tools set by Global Procurement & SCM management
Drives major process-related improvement programs that have local, regional or global impact on supply chain cost and efficiency
Create SCM and purchasing strategy in order to ensure long-term and sustainable success together with the global management
Ensuring transparency and management of the activities
**Qualifications**:
Master's or bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering
5-10 years of solid experience in procurement-purchasing / supply chain functions of corporate organizations
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams
Excellent negotiation skills combined with a commercial acumen
Strong analytical mindset
Managing the execution of all development activities inline with continuous improvement priorities
Excellent observation skills to identify bottlenecks & pain points
Ability to conduct strategic & fruitful relationships with the vendors and key stakeholders
Advanced level of English, Turkish is helpful but not required
