**What we are looking for**: a **team-oriented technical all-rounder,** with a passion for precision work and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

**Your tasks**:

- **Lab work**: Independent mechanical assembly and precise alignment of technically sophisticated laser systems with electronic and mechanical components.
- **Installation & Commissioning**: After a comprehensive training on the job (1-2 years) you will be responsible for the commissioning of laser systems and the provision of full customer training on-site (approx. a handful of assignments per year).
- **Service & Support**:You will be our customers’ first point of contact, diagnosing and solving any issues that may arise, performing maintenance and ensuring our systems run smoothly.
- **Teamwork**: You will collaborate with colleagues from the fields of physics, electronics and software in a close and interdisciplinary manner to achieve the best solutions for our customers.
- **Documentation**: You will be responsible for the creation of structured and comprehensible work instruction manuals and troubleshooting guides, ensuring thorough documentation of your own contributions.

**Your profile**:

- **Education**: A successfully completed qualification as a technician, mechatronics engineer, service technician, (or comparable qualification) is required. Additional certifications (e.g. “_Staatlich Geprüfter Techniker” _or similar) is a plus.
- **Experience**:Ideally you have gained professional experience, with a proven track of success in installing and commissioning machines. Initial experience in customer service is desirable.
- **Skills**:You're a versatile and highly flexible professional, driven by strong initiative, with excellent communication, problem-solving and teamworking skills. You naturally demonstrate a pronounced customer and service orientation and have a solid technical understanding.
- **Languages**:Fluent command of English (speaking, reading, writing) are essential for international assignments. Very good command of German is a plus.
- **Mobility**:Willingness to travel (domestic and international, sometimes on short notice) and a valid Class B driver’s license are required.
