Offers and Contracts Specialist

This position will play a relevant role in **supporting **both **Projects **and **Business Development **in Germany and other European countries.

It must actively work with different stakeholders, including legal services, insurance, procurement, global technical services, risks, control, promotion, engineering, construction, investment office, corporate security and **local contractors & suppliers**, to ensure Iberdrola’s portfolio is developed and built.

**_Responsibilities_**:

- Management and coordination of the different units involved in determining the cost estimate (CAPEX) for future Onshore renewable projects, such as Wind, Photovoltaic and BESS
- Coordinate the technical-economic homogenizations of the main equipment
- Lead technical-commercial relations with contractors
- Lead the preparation of tender documentation and manage the technical contracting process for BOP contractors
- Lead contractual and technical Due Diligence processes, coordinating external consultants and internal support teams

**_Required qualifications _**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, related field or equivalent combination of education
- 5+ years’ experience in the energy industry, ideally in tenders and contracts negotiations with German contractors
- Experience in wind / solar / BESS projects

**_Languages_**:

- German and English (full professional competence)
- Optional languages, highly appreciated:

- Spanish
- Polish

**Skills**:

- Technical skills with the ability to balance and prioritize competing interests
- Demonstrated ability to navigate through technical questions
- Extensive knowledge of both PV and Wind power plants construction companies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, effectively managing and interfacing with cross-functional internal groups of all levels and competencies
- Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Entrepreneur. Self-starter eager to learn
