For our site in Geilenkirchen (close to Aachen) we are looking for an **Instructor Passive Controller/Mission Simulator Operator (f/m/d)** **Your task**: - Operate the Simulator Training Devices and associated systems - Provide the expertise to contribute for an effective and efficient use of the Simulator Training Devices capabilities and support military instructors to achieve this goal - Instruct students in checklist procedure and basic system knowledge in the Simulator Training Devices. - Provide the full range in simulator scenario training aircrew members during all phases of training - Conduct theoretical and practical training and augment Customer Training Organization as required - Lead training and scenario development and review - Instruct basic system knowledge, normal and emergency procedure training and student instructor familiarization training - Support in planning, guiding and execution of simulated events, support distributed simulator trainings - Provide briefing and debriefing to trainee and lead the scheduling activities - Maintain and update all required technical and operational publications and data provided by customer - Contribute to further development of training program - Provide demonstrations during visits - Provide and track data for training, training events, students' performance and generic statistics - Support the On-Site Manager as required - Carry out additional tasks under direction **Your profile**: - Educational and or professional background with a bachelor degree plus a professional certification and a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in an international environment - A recent, thorough working knowledge of Air Defence Operations and all aspects of Air Battle Management, including offensive and maritime operations, performed in an Air Surveillance and Control Unit (i.e., Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC), or CRC) - A recent experience of at least three (3) years experience as Passive Controller/Electronic Combat Officer in the E-3 or, equivalent AEW&C platform - A minimum of one (1) year experience as an instructor on that position - Excellent organization skills, including a sense of accuracy - Strong communication skills across versatile customer groups - Hands-on, pragmatic, and service-orientated - Fluency in English - Eligible for NATO security clearance **We offer**: - On the job training - Working in international teams - Challenging and dynamic environment in the field of aeronautics - A responsible position with excellent development opportunities - Competitive salary based on a 35Hrs work week **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
