We are looking for a Marketing Copywriter - English (English, mid-professional level)
for our Content Strategy & Localization (CSL) Team in Berlin

40h/week, starting asap

CSL is the strategic copywriting force within Babbel's Creative Operations department. We provide all departments (primarily marketing/advertising and brand) with highest quality content, localized into 8 languages.

**You will**:

- Support our other English Marketing Copywriter in acting as the voice of the Babbel brand, helping deliver great stories across multiple off
- and online channels
- Work on marketing campaigns, CRM newsletters, video & radio scripts, social media posts, digital ads, press releases, surveys, etc. as well as write, copy-edit, proofread or adapt other assets in order to target a global audience
- Work on proprietary style guides and glossaries, defining specific wording standards for each text-type in cooperation with, besides team members, a lot of other professionals across the company
- Create, maintain and improve content for all of Babbel’s products and channels

**You are**:

- A talented and versatile marketing copywriter and editor who relentlessly strives for great copy
- A creative storyteller with superior communication, writing and editing skills in English
- A native-level English speaker
- A language enthusiast and high-level thinker with a penchant for keeping track of details
- A standout problem solver with marketing chops and a keen understanding of digital strategy
- Pragmatic, proactive, well organized and highly collaborative
- Familiar with writing copy for digital channels and UX copy for different audiences and purposes
- Experienced working with evolving brand guidelines and systems
- A strategic thinker, able to see an idea through from concept to execution
- A great communicator with strong time management skills

**You have**:

- 2+ years of experience writing copy for digital marketing channels with a focus on acquisition and retention (Paid Social, SEM, CRM etc.)
- Experience in working with content for web and/or mobile experiences
- Experience in knowledge about creating SEO-optimized content is a plus
- Additional languages (and the ability to transcreate copy from those languages) are a strong plus
