In December of 2021 EMnify executed a major funding round of 50 million € with prime growth investor One Peak in London. We currently employ over 140 people, predominantly in Germany (Berlin and Wuerzburg), California and a support footprint in the Philippines. As we pursue our ambitious growth goals, we will expand our international footprint, look into M&A opportunities, strengthen our organization, and upgrade our internal processes and systems.
Are you an all-round Senior Procurement Professional, ready to take a bold new challenge? We are looking for somebody with the knowledge and the drive to build emnify's Procurement from the ground up. You will have the freedom and opportunity to leverage your skills and create a modern Procurement Function in a fast-scaling technology company.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Define the roadmap to create the Procurement Function at emnify
- Analyze the main spending categories and understand the underlying

needs
- Review existing contracts, conditions, and commitments
- Review the current procurement practices
- Design an optimized Source to Contract process
- Provide training and advice over procurement best practices
- Support operational teams on key procurement steps, e.g. RFPs, vendor

selection, contract negotiation
- Coordinate periodic vendor performance reviews
- Create a preferred vendors list, with negotiated conditions where

appropriate
- Identify needs for IT tools supporting procurement activities
- Define and execute a procurement savings plan
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal on cost and risk planning and control
- Provide regular reporting to the management

**Your experience**:

- You have a university degree in finance, business administration, engineering, or other STEM disciplines
- You have a demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in strategic procurement, spanning across all process, vendor management, contractual, negotiation, and savings aspects
- You must have experience in the tech vendors category (cloud computing, software, SaaS, IT contractors). Knowledge of marketing and professional services categories is a plus.
- High motivation and readiness to roll up your sleeves and make it happen
- You know how to partner effectively with non-procurement stakeholders, understanding their needs and constraints
- You are spotlessly fluent in English, spoken and written
- Fluency in German is a distinctive plus
