For the expansion of our Service Team in COVENTRY, Warwickshire, IPG Photonics (UK) Ltd are looking for a

Applications Engineer

YOUR TASKS:
Compile and deliver technical reports and presentations to customers.
To help accelerate the conversion of non-laser to laser technologies, as well as the conversion from traditional lasers to fiber lasers.
To provide training and instructions to customers.

YOUR PROFILE:
Technical qualification(s) in photonics, electrics or mechanical engineering.
Experienced in welding, cutting, surfacing, ablation
Ability to analyse, evaluate and assess complex and intricate mechanical components.
A 'hands-on' engineer with a minimum of 2-5 years related experience.
First experience with robotics integration and/or laser materials processing is

desirable.
Willing to travel within the UK/ Ireland and occasionally overseas, diving license.
Good communication skills and a team player.
Experienced with customers and delivering convincing proposals.
