**Your Role**:Working for our Service Provider Management department, in this role, you will support the identification of outsourcing needs together with internal customers and support our corporate outsourcing strategy globally. Your tasks include the preparation of sufficiently detailed request for proposal documents as well as contract negotiations with service providers, all in collaboration with relevant internal customers, and in line with business objectives and strategies. You ensure the coordination and management of structured evaluations of existing preferred service providers and other vendors of relevance. The identification of new service providers in the context of regular market surveys is done by you, as is the maintenance of a list containing preferred service providers (incl. a catalogue of available services). You make sure that the development and adaptation of SPM business procedures (incl. Quality Documents) are ongoing. For all of this, you need to have a good relationship and close collaboration regarding vendor management as well as our Corporate Purchasing department.This position is located in Darmstadt, Germany, but hybrid working is possible.
**Who You Are**:
- Bachelor's Degree (Master/MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in drug development in a pharmaceutical industry or CRO
- Procurement expertise (preferably in clinical research or service procurement)
- Decentralized Clinical Trials and patient recruitment vendor experience a must
- Good analytical and strategic thinking
- Highly developed communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong customer focus
- Proactive, self-motivating
- Ability to work and lead in a multi-cultural atmosphere
- Willingness to travel (20% incl. to the USA)
