Mid/seniorrealtime Lighting Artists

cantaloupe is looking for immediately **[Mid/Senior] Realtime Lighting Artists (Automotive)** in our Berlin Studio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Construction of complex natural and studio lighting scenarios in Unreal Engine for vehicles
- Creation of complex reflections setups with custom made HDR textures for highly reflective materials
- Setting up cinematic camera shots and atmospheric post processing to enhance the visual quality
- Ability to work in a team creating a consistent style across an automotive fleet

**Skills & Requirements**:

- 3+/5+ years of professional lighting experience
- High level of attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent eye for cinematic staging, lighting and shape language
- Very good knowledge of tone, composition and color theory
- Strong understanding of physically based rendering and HDR pipelines
- Experience to achieve the desired results under real-time constraints
- A high affinity for the automotive industry.
- Ability to work in a team with high communication needs (work preparation and communication in case of difficulties).

**Pluses**:

- Experience with automotive marketing productions
- Experience with ray tracing and light baking
- Experience handling Substance, 3Ds Max and/or Blender
- Experience with Perforce/SVN
