**What you will do**
- Development of a software-based solution for the production of medicinal products using Java
- Conception and development of software modules to control the medicinal process utilizing the concept of the digital twin
- Creation of digital twins (asset administration shell) for the medicinal/laboratory area
- Development of communication interfaces (e.g. using OPC UA) in the Eclipse BaSyx middleware using Java

**What you bring to the table**
- You are studying (applied) computer science or have comparable knowledge
- You are interested in longer-term employment (1 year at approx. 10-20 hrs / week)
- You have solid experience with Java and the concepts of object-oriented languages
- You have a basic understanding of version control (e.g. Git) and want to learn how to develop software in a distributed team
- You have a basic understanding of the OPC UA platfor
- You are enthusiastic about research as well as new concepts and technologies
- Ideally, you already have experience in open-source project

Remuneration according to the general works agreement for employing assistant staff.
