Data Integration Architect

As a Data Integration Architect, you will play a critical role in planning, designing, and executing the migration of our core software systems, ensuring seamless data integration and a smooth transition for our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by leveraging your expertise in data integration and software migration.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Integration Architect to support a large software migration initiative at groupm. Furthermore:

- Lead the planning and execution of a large-scale software migration project, ensuring the smooth transition of data from legacy systems to the new software platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to define migration requirements and develop a comprehensive migration strategy
- Design and architect data integration solutions that align with industry best practices and ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the migration process
- Identify and document data dependencies, transformation rules, and integration points between systems to facilitate a seamless transition
- Work closely with external vendors and technical teams to coordinate migration activities, resolve technical challenges, and ensure successful system integration
- Develop and implement data validation and reconciliation processes to verify the accuracy and completeness of migrated data
- Optimize data integration processes to improve migration efficiency, minimize downtime, and mitigate risks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues during the migration, promptly resolving any data-related issues that may arise
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data governance and data management policies for the new software platform
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in data integration and software migration, recommending innovative solutions to enhance migration strategies

**THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES DISTINGUISH YOU**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Integration Architect or a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including hands-on experience in leading major software migration projects
- Strong expertise in data integration techniques, tools, and technologies, such as ETL, API integration, data replication, etc
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database concepts, and SQL
- Experience with software migration methodologies and best practices, including data mapping, data cleansing, and validation
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, PowerShell)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data integration and migration issues
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within deadlines
