We are a young provider of school aids or assistants“- in German “Schulbegleiter” for children and youth with special needs in the Munich region. Our management team consists of two specialists with over three years of experience in providing school assistants to children in Munich and regional schools. We are committed to working not only with German schools in the Munich area, but also with all international schools in which English is the primary language of instruction.

We acknowledge individual school support “Schulbegleitung” as a dynamic, goal-oriented process that helps children and youth with special needs to gain more independence and self-confidence in school.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU as a school aid and assistant “Schulbegleiter” (M/F/d) in English-speaking international schools - in Percha/Starnberg.

We are an independent provider of youth and integration assistance for children in schools throughout Munich and the surrounding area. We help with conviction:
School Assist specializes in providing school support of children with special needs by qualified and committed staff.

As a school aid/assistant “Schulbegleiter/in” you support the pupil in the classroom as needed.

**Your tasks**:

- Accompaniment and support in everyday school life (also in afternoon school activities) in the 1st grade
- Assistance regarding learning pace and behaviour in the classroom.
- Help in maintaining individual skills and promoting new competences.
- Support for understanding classroom rules and pupil’s own and external perception.
- Contact and communication assistance with other pupils and teaching staff.
- Support in the implementation of exercise units and clarification of work instructions.
- Cooperation with parents and teachers.

**Your profile**
- Experience and strong interest in working with children and youth with special needs
- Patience, resilience and skills in guiding/coaching children and youth
- Ability for self-reflection and willingness to further train
- Joy to work in an open and dynamic team within a classroom setting
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to work beyond normal hours on occasional school excursions, etc.
